How I can help
Hello and a warm welcome. I am a very experienced therapist and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have over 18 years experience of working with and supporting people through their difficulties, both in private practice and through working in an NHS trust. I offer counselling and psychotherapy on a short and long term basis depending on your needs and circumstances.
It may be that you are struggling and going through a difficult time at the moment, there may be past issues that are affecting you, or you may find yourself stuck in unhelpful patterns of behaviour or thinking. Or you may just have a sense that things aren't quite right, and are feeling down and low in energy.
It can sometimes be hard to talk to people who know you, and counselling offers a different and unique relationship where I will provide a safe, impartial, confidential, and non judgemental space in which you will be heard and understood. This can then support you to work through emotions, raise self-awareness, gain clarity, and explore ways to help you to move forward with whatever difficulties you are experiencing.
During my time as a therapist I have helped clients with many issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, suicidal tendencies, body issues, family issues, sexuality, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
I am passionate about counselling and am committed to supporting you through whatever difficulty you may be experiencing.

I know it can feel daunting and a big first step to reach out and ask for help. I offer a free 15 minute consultation for you to ask any questions that you may have, and decide whether I am the right therapist for you.

Making Contact and Fees
I charge £50 per session, which lasts for 50 minutes. I have limited availability for low cost spaces for those on a low income, or students in training.
